The Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) is one of Australia’s oldest representative professional bodies, formed over 90 years ago who commencing operations in 1923 representing Government bodies including the Australian Tax Office, Australian Securities and Investment Commission, Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority, Treasury Tax Agents Board and the Attorney General’s Department.

The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers is the largest bookkeeping institute in the world which promotes and maintains the standards of bookkeeping as a profession, through the establishment of a series of relevant qualifications and the award of grades of membership that recognise academic attainment, working experience and competence.
